- Picking up a stone, shard, or coin at archaeological sites is a criminal offence — there is no 'small souvenir' exemption.
- Drone use over archaeological sites and most islands requires CAA Greece registration and a flight plan.
JURISDICTION NOTES
- Antiquities law treats any object over 100 years old as state property, and undeclared finds carry up to 20-year sentences.
